Tigers academy hooker Charlie Clare has joined Jersey on an initial one month loan. Clare has played 3 games at Championship level for Nottingham, all appearances from the bench and all last season, as well as one start for Loughborough Students. As Jersey operate a small squad and often have a prop covering hooker Clare is likely to be thrown straight into the thick of the action.
He is the 10th Tigers player to go out on loan this season after Jonny Harris, Ryan Bower, Kieran Brookes, Jimmy Stevens, Joe Cain, George Oliver, Andy Symons, Andy Forsyth and Alex Lewington.
